About the department.
Our department is made up of local volunteers.
Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1972. We serve Grape Creek, an unincorporated community in Tom Green County, from our station on Wren Road.
We respond to structure and grass fires, medical calls, vehicle crashes, and rescues. We also teach fire safety and take part in community events.
We serve the area north of San Angelo, including Grape Creek, Buffalo Heights, Highland Range, and surrounding rural areas extending toward Carlsbad.
